Apply Visa to Thailand in South Africa

Documents Requirement

• 1. Visa Application form(s) and photograph(s): two signed and completed Visa Application Forms dated at least 10 working days before the intended date of travel (https://image.mfa.go.th/mfa/0/3Vsp0C7LTs/-_form_Application_visa.pdf), as well as two recent photograph(s) (size 2x2 inch).
• 2. Passport (valid for no less than 6 months) to be submitted with a copy of the Passport
• 3. Copy of ID Document other than Passport (for example ID Card or Driving License)
• 4. Copy of Permanent Residence or other permit (if not a national of the country of residence)
• 5. Invitation letter from organization in Thailand, indicating details of volunteer, including position, responsibility, and length of contract (if any)
• 6. A copy of the Organization Registration certificate as Non-profit Organization (NGO)
• 7. A copy of flight ticket(s).
• 8. Evidence of adequate finance - An original bank statement covering a period of dating back 3 months which states bank contact information and deposit with the equivalent amount of not less than ZAR 11,000 per person.
• 9. Evidence of accommodation booking - proof of accommodation arrangement for the entire duration of the stay in Thailand.
• 10. Copy of Yellow fever vaccination card – for applicants from or have travelled to yellow fever infected areas.

• 11. Visa Application Fee (not include visa processing company’s fee) : Single-Entry Visa: ZAR1,200
• 12. Other documents: as may be requested by Consular officers in addition to the documents above. Please note that Consular officers reserve the right to require additional documents, or an interview, as deemed necessary, without prior notice. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right not to accept any visa application whereby any required document is absent. If the above procedures are not completed, the official will not proceed with your application.

  All documents: Documents in languages other than Thai or English have to be translated into either Thai or English and notarised by notary organs or relevant diplomatic/consular missions.
